My name is Nico! I grew up hunting, fishing and reloading with my dad. My interest in hunting lead free started in the early 2000s when I went down the rabbit hole of seeking how to get the best performance out of a rifle. Deep diving into ballistics/terminal performance has made me never look back at lead for hunting. I moved to Idaho in 2019 where I am lucky to be able to hunt or fish 4-5 days out of the week, and often times my daughter comes along. As a dad now myself, my decision to use lead free ammunition or fishing tackle has only been reinforced because not only am I getting the best results in the field, I am comforted knowing the meat is safe to eat as well.
