Get to Know Me…
Cornville, AZ
My name is Michael! I grew up in southwestern Kansas, in a farming and raching community. Depending on the season, I worked on the Rafter 76 cowboying. In the winter months I worked in town trying to stay out of trouble. I joined the Marine Corps in '98, and enjoyed the environment and worldwide travel. I have been out since 2003, and now live in Arizona, where I learned the effects of hunting with Lead from the Peregrine Foundation, and the Non Lead Partnership in 2019. Every chance I get I am outside hunting, fishing, hiking, and mountain biking, or just trying to get out of work. I have a wonderful family, and they keep me on my toes.

Fun Fact
My first an last deer harvested in AZ was with the best non-lead system in the world: a ram pickup truck. The students I coach in mountain biking call me Sir Crashalots, King of the Dirt Table. It is a title that I embrace wholeheartedly, to be known as the best gravity checker. My hobbies include outdoor activities, leather, woodworking, black smithing, MTB ambassador for veterans, reloading and hospital visits. I am 80% disabled and try to live my life to the fullest.
