My name is Liz! Born and raised in northern New Jersey, I'm a "late to the party" hunter who first picked up a license in western Montana just over a decade ago. As a lifelong nature nerd, making the switch to lead-free ammunition — for the benefit of humans, wildlife, and our shared habitats alike — was an easy choice, once I realized what a wide variety of options was available. I now reside in Lander, Wyoming, with my husband, Jared, and our bird dogs, Rhiza and Indiana. When I'm not busy with my work as an archaeologist, I enjoy cooking, writing, gardening, volunteering my time with conservation organizations, and hunting all over our state's wild and beautiful public lands.
