Get to Know Me…

My name is Jen! I am a Southeast Michigan public land hunter, forager, fisher, trapper, and outdoor educator. Having put down a deep taproot here, the more I learn about the place I am from, the more I fall in love with it. With the help of my husband, Jason, I have raised an amazing daughter to adulthood. I now spend most of my free time outside, hunting, hiking, boating, trapping, foraging, wrangling dogs, pulling invasive species, planting trees, shooting bows, shooting guns, mentoring others and generally having a great time. I work for the National Wild Turkey Federation as Michigan's Hunting and Shooting R3 Coordinator. I volunteer as an Artemis Ambassador, and as an instructor for Michigan Becoming an Outdoors Woman and Hunter Safety Education for the State of Michigan.
