Get to Know Me…

My name is Jason! I grew up hunting deer and squirrel in the forests of western Virginia and fishing for bass and bluegill on my grandparents' and parents' farm ponds. As an adult I traded the eastern forest for the southwestern desert so Gambel's quail and rainbow trout are now my main pursuits--with trips home for bass and whitetail. I've been using steel for birds and copper for big game for several years and the results have been impressive. Conservation and 'leave no trace' are important principals to me, and being lead-free is the least any hunter can do if they want to carry the motto that "Hunting is Conservation."

Favorite Caliber

.270 - that was my first deer rifle when I was 11 or 12 and is still the only caliber I've ever used for big game.
