Get to Know Me…

My name is Carlin! I have working in natural resources sciences for 20 years and spend as much of my free time as possible outdoors. I hunt and fish regularly and we eat a lot of game meat and fish that we take from the land and water. Living in Western Wyoming provides vast expanses of wilderness to roam. It also is a constant reminder of how pristine landscapes and intact ecology takes the work and resources to protect. I have been reloading copper ammo for a few years now because I believe it is a important given the amount of game meat my children consume, and because I want the carcasses I leave behind to play a positive role in the foodweb from which them came.

Fun Fact

In my youth I was known as the 'whistling fisherman' because I spent my summer days down by the lake fishing, usually whistling a tune. I still like to whistle.
