Get to Know Me…

My name is Will! I grew up hunting and fishing the public lands of Northwest Montana, with some of my earliest outdoors memories spent chasing grouse in the mountains and fly fishing the North Fork of the Flathead River. That deep connection to wild places shaped my passion for conservation and led me to serve as a chapter leader for Backcountry Hunters and Anglers in college where I first became familiar with Sporting Lead-Free. I see the mission of Sporting Lead-Free as not only the preservation of wildlife, but also the protection of hunting heritage. As a fifth-generation Montanan from a long line of hunters, I believe that adopting lead-free practices is essential to ensuring healthy ecosystems and keeping these traditions alive for future generations. I can often be found hunting and fishing with my English Setter, Quigley.
